Yes , we did get away, but not till after 1 p.m. Roger had his tooth repaired at an 8.30 appointment, so we could say that held us up. There's plenty to finish off, and things to check at home, and details to tell Jacqui who is staying at our place. Then we had to get air in the van tyres at Pennant Hills, and with some backing and filling, then top up with fuel for the start. We had a lovely(?) lunch at 3.30 ish at MacD's at Blaxland! So we have now stopped for the night at Blackheath Caravan Park, 5degreesC outside. We have power and the little heater is keeping our small space warm. The second picture is our arrival! Trine may recognise the colour of the mohair rug - which was from a spool left behind 10 years ago. I've been crocheting this since last winter, and finished it today in the car. Something extra to keep us warm at night. I think we have decided to depart from the itinerary and tomorrow will drive via Mudgee to somewhere. (If I complete any other projects you'll hear about it over the next 2 months plus).
